Cookies Required Issue
If you receive a cookies error after installing Live Help on your web site then you need to finish the Live Help installation. If you have cookies enabled in your web browser and the error is still ocurring you should complete the following.
Please note: You must use the Live Help Online / Offline button when you access Live Help. You should not browse directly to the /livehelp directory as you need to use our official HTML code for Live Help to function as exepected. If you wish to test the Live Help software before placing the Live Help button and HTML code on your web pages then you can use the page at /livehelp/index.htm
Step 1.
The following lines should be added on each page after your <title> tag and just before your </head> tag (this should be added once per page):

I have done all of the above and I’m still getting the same error.
Louise, you must have Live Help setup within a valid host name e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com You will experience trouble with the cookie detection if you use localhost or a direct IP address.
I was having the same issue with the code provided above. My set up is a whmcs module so I had to change it to <a href="/whmcs/modules/livehelp/index.php etc…
Try this and it may solve your issues.
Korey, you should never use the code above if you have Live Help installed as a WHMCS module. The WHMCS module has special HTML code that is detailed at http://livehelp.stardevelop.com/kb/article/290/
Hi, we are receiving a “Cookies are not enabled” error when clicking the “Live Help” button at the top of the page, but cookies are enabled? Please help?
