Introduction
Live Help allows operators to interactively chat to web site visitors that are currently browsing your web site. It enables Live Help operators to communicate with currently browsing site visitors via. messaging software.
Pre-installation Overview
Before starting the Live Help installation we will briefly explain the architecture of the Live Help solution. Firstly, our Live Help Server software is installed on your own web server.

There are two main components to the Live Help solution, the server-side installation and the optional Live Help Messenger Windows application that is installed on your Live Help operator PC's. The Live Help Server Software requires PHP and MySQL to function correctly, and the Live Help Messenger Windows application requires the latest Microsoft .NET Framework.
Please note: As stated in the Server Minimum Requirements, in addition to the PHP and MySQL server requirements it is also a requirement that the Live Help web application and web services are installed on your server within the default /livehelp directory eg. http://www.yourdomain.com/livehelp/
