Live Help Beta Refresh Available - Skype Support
The Live Help Messenger Desktop Beta Refresh is now available and will be sent via. email to customers over the new few days and weekend. If you wish to receive the beta refresh release you will need to place another request via. email and the release will be sent to you ASAP. See below for Live Help Skype callback support:

In addition to this we have improved the Chat Window within the beta release, as shown below. You can now easily view the site visitor details for each chatting visitor.

We thank you for your patience while these emails are sent out. Please provide as much beta feedback as possible, even if you think the issue has already been reported. This will assist with the final release and launch - thank you for beta testing!
Also, checkout our recently launched Live Help Hosted Service. If you don’t have PHP and MySQL available on your web server or require managed Live Help then our Live Help Hosted Solution is for you. Our managed Live Help service is ideal for customers that do not wish to spend time installing and maintaining a Live Help solution.

Looks awesome!
I must say, I don’t like where you are going with adding phone support. I want live chat software. I am not your only customer who thinks this.
Anyway, I can’t wait. The GUI looks amazing

Thanks for the feedback.
Voice has been a feature frequently requested by many of our customers and adding a call back feature helps meet this demand. We do not believe that this new feature detracts from our core Live Help features and we doubt that Live Help will move further into voice integration at this stage.
Let us know if you have any further suggestions. We love to hear from customers regarding feature requests and ideas for future releases.
Thanks again!

Still monitoring the Beta 2 Refresh, so can’t offer any sensible comments just yet… GUI seems good… however have to say that the Telephone Support will be a great additional tool to assist sales conversions.
My SIP provider is Sipgate… can this service be integrated into Live Help?
I have entered the relevant details into the VOIP setup (options), but don’t quite know what should be the next step!
Regards,
IM

You will need to have the VoIP setup within a SIP server such as Asterisk / FreePBX. At this stage we do not support direct SIP connections with your VoIP provider. You will need to have your VoIP provider setup within Asterisk / FreePBX or use the Skype callback feature.

We are registered users of the multiple domain version and would like to receive the latest beta if possible. We have installed the latest v3.30 of the server and it seems to be working great.
However on our last beta of the desktop application it crashed after we changed our operator icons then clicked save.
We are running Vista Ultimate

Could I please try out the beta version? Thanks.
April 7th, 2008 at 1:33 PM
Hi mate, please can you send me a copy of the latest beta version as I had a system crash and lost the file
April 12th, 2008 at 2:09 AM
If you are not planning to release the live version of the new desktop package for a bit, can we get an updated version of the beta? We have an older copy. We have been testing it with my personal system and I need to see if what I have found is already resolved in a later release. (Which I am sure it is.)
Thanks!

The beta version is so rad! Great job as always guys! Can’t wait to see what other cool feature will be coming out down the road!
April 23rd, 2008 at 9:45 PM
Hi
We are using the latest beta (we believe) and have reported some issues you said you were fixing. Is there a new beta please to see how its going.
Also some features removed from older versions, eg. customer information would preferably (eg. their email address) be best shown all the time. As this way our operators can see if a regular customer has come on etc.
Also is there a way to show the website on the list of waiting customers all the time without clicking the expand arrow. As we have a multiple domain license and it would be nice for each operator to see which department before accepting the help request.
Keep up great work
Thanks
Terry
